Calling all architecture enthusiasts and those looking for a one-of-a-kind Airbnb experience. When you book a stay at this geodesic dome in the Texas Hill Country, you'll be able to cross something off your bucket list.
A wooded lot in Leander, Texas, about 30 minutes outside of Austin, is home to the "Black Beauty" airbnb, which has been dubbed "the Black Beauty."
The three-story home, which was built in the 1990s using a geodesic dome home building kit, was completely remodeled in 2020. The 3,500-square-foot structure has five bedrooms with five beds, three bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 12 guests. A treetop observation tower and a wraparound deck with treetop views are among the notable amenities.
It is stated that when designing the Geodome, the architects wanted to combine contemporary design with natural elements, so that residents can always enjoy natural sunlight and feel as if they are surrounded by peace and serenity throughout the entire house.“The Geodome's vaulted ceilings, combined with its numerous windows, make it the ideal home for people who enjoy nature but prefer to do so from the comfort of a modern home.”
Former guests have left dozens of positive comments on the vacation rental's Airbnb page, praising the Instagram-worthy accommodations.Out of the Japanese forest, seven dome-shaped glamping tents emerge.
Lauren, who stayed in Dan's geodome home in January 2021, wrote, "Dan's geodome home is absolutely breathtaking, was sparkling clean, and was truly a gem of a place for us to ring in our new year and the end of the year 2020 together."”The furniture, mid-century modern decor, and thoughtfully placed fun decor touches throughout the house were absolutely stunning. We were particularly taken with the Bond poster featuring Sean Connery that hung above the beautiful bar! And I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to spend an evening watching the sunset from the 360 observatory tower!”
Dan, the Airbnb's gracious host, received praise from a satisfied guest.
“We had a wonderful time, and Dan, our host, was extremely accommodating and always available,” wrote Carolina, who stayed in November 2020.“The check-in/check-out process is simple and quick, and there are no complications!”
Dan has earned the title of "Superhost" on Airbnb, which is reserved for those who are considered to be a cut above the rest of the community. In addition to a rating of 4.8 or higher, superhosts have an unblemished track record of zero cancellations, and a response rate of at least 90 percent.
The home is currently renting for an average of $556 per night. It has already secured a number of bookings for the remainder of the calendar year. Please see airbnb. com for additional information.
